The duo-900 tracking device provides the best of both worlds by using the local gsm network while in a gsm/gprs coverage area and automatically switching to global satellite services when out of network reach. This provides the most effective and efficient means of communication and control of assets at all times, no matter where they are situated.

A compact device with a quad-band GPRS and satellite transceiver, 16 channel GPS and input/output feeds, the DUO-900 reports time, distance, geo-fencing (identifying specific areas) and any other criteria to meet your specific reporting requirements.

Irrespective of where your assets are at any given time, the DUO-900 keeps you in touch through the GlobalTracks network service. While in cellular range your asset can send frequent, cost-effective updates using GPRS. Outside of cellular range, the Duo-900 automatically switches to global satellite mode, sending critical updates while maintaining a live reporting interval. The high frequency messages are stored and sent when back in cellular coverage. The different reporting intervals, whether the unit is operating on GPRS or satellite, can be set independently via WebTrack to suit your budget and asset management requirements.
